SUMMARY OF MEETING
Competency Framework and Career Management (Q-Chem Deema Al-Kuwari)
Opportunities for Business growth and right skills, right time, right place.
Challenges are lack of tools and ageing workforce.
Strategy includes Leveraging Technology, Building Leadership Capabilities, Enabling Career Growth and Nurturing a Learning Culture.
Important element is developing Unified Qatari Career paths for different roles.
Equity in Leadership & Talent Development (NOC- Mona Al-Shafei & Irina Gordiyenko)
3 parts to Leadership Development Portfolio; National Development Program, Integrated Leadership Development Program, Women Leadership Development Program.
Woman Leadership Program has three main elements: 7 Cs and Personal Brand, Innovation and Design, Professional Presence.
Developed in partnership with HEC in Paris.
50 women already completed with new cohort of 25 planned, 50% of participants are Nationals.
Sponsorship Statistics (QatarEnergy – Amna Al-Sulaiti)
Currently 607 Students under management, 341 in Qatar and 266 overseas.
428 Students are sponsored University Program with 179 under Vocational Programs.
A total of 1127 UP students graduated in last 10 years, 42 of which were in 2022.
For Vocational Students, we had 923 Graduates in 10 years, 47 were in 2022.
Planned Demand for 2023 is 270 Students with 142 as UP.
Leadership Development & Succession Management (QAFCO –Jully Negovha)
Model has 4 parts: Competency Model, Leadership Development, Succession Management, Talent Management.
Competence Management Framework developed to enable talent development and growth.
QAFCO success Profiles include items on Core, Leadership and Learning Potential.
Talent Dashboards display breakdowns of proficiency levels against the competency.
